It looks like a Toyosport one.I have stoppped my mapping as the mapping is not the problem i think with the new TIP, not that the TIP is the problem moreover a combination of a few different uprated bits. Before we stopped mapping i logged a 339bhp on the LG, but i was down about 60lb/ft up to 4800rpm.

I am still loggin with vagcom as i can look the logs over at a later stage.

P.S the 440cc are maxed out now up top!!!! Hello 550's

What fpr are you using? I've got a 4 bar one on my car but if I need to get bigger injectors will as I got mine from America for about 160 delivered I think,
Mine was a toyosport got it sat in garage,
Would you recommend keeping 3" tip in box till I start mapping or you think will be ok on standard map,
What you think will cure the lack or torque with using the 3" tip,

I am using a 3bar FPR, i am not sure my pump is up to a 4bar fpr, it sure would be cheaper than buying new injectors again.

Honestly i would keep it in the box, i fitted mine and the torque went out of control untill the map was adjusted and by out of control i mean 393lf/ft spikes!!!

In addition i have a feeling you may also suffer from surge, i am hoping your won't but this turbo in conjuction with the TIP, DP, Highflow manifold etc.... seems to be showing up that the hybrid K04 turbine side is mismatched for the compressor size, i am currently in contact with CR turbo about this and will let you know the outcome as soon as i do.

about 1 at tickover is normal, its high up in the RPM you need to keep an eye on, low .8, here is my fueling from the last tune i did, its spot on, you can get the calcution by multiplying your fueling by 14.7, so 0 .84 x 14.7 = 12.3, you want to be around the 12's or under up top otherwise you are lean.

P.S i pulled 339bhp from this turbo, but this was with surge, when we get is shorted out this thing will be mental

That's crazy that is I can't wait to get mine mapped
Now, I'm not goin to give car stick till mapped and going
To use the mbc to limit boost to 20, want to play with liquid gauge and make sure got no pull on ignition and fuels ok, thanks for the calculation should help now, i think will be running rich as have bigger injectors and not adjusted map, so should be putting more fuel into cylinders,
What torque you think will achieve with these turbos at that power ?

That's what meant sorry I'm confusing myself, :( so to stop the surge you think going to need a different turbine and then can run more torque,
Are you also getting boost creep?

Yes somthing needs to be changed with the turine/compressor/shaft, i am working with CR turbo's at the moment so see if it is unique to my car or unique to the turbo.

When will your be complete as it will be interesting to see your results?

thanks

Rob

Hi Robbie got it back yeah :) been playing with liquid gauge and getting 0.75 under boost is that to little or too much?
Egt been about 800-900 but not goin over 5k, I'm down on power and torque the liquid gauge is saying,
With regards to noise it sounds ok, my boost reads at mbar how Many make a psi? And is it 1000 in 1 bar, my actuator needs adjusting I think, my intake temps were maxing out at about 12 :) didn't get any noises :)

yeah 15psi is just over 1bar, its not far off standard, from the sound of it .075 is a very rich mix(11.025 A/F), so its over fueling at the moment.

I wouldn't be too worried about it, but i would check your injectors, i know the O rings on some of those 440cc are just a tiny bit to small, apart form that it probably unburnt fuel.

Not to bad for a standard map :)
Was dark when get back but will check o rings tommorro Robbie,
Maybe when start mapping I will get The cavitation :( going to fit tip just before goes in for mapping and leave it with nick to play with,
The overfilling won't cause bore wash will it? What compressor wheels are cr looking at changing too?
