However, not tooo sure about the thread title as really it has no stance, its just low, but it looks good which is what counts.

well if you read through the thread you would of seen the first set of RM's I had with 2.5" lips and 1" lips, and it would of been stanced, and with my D90's it was too, and stance is what you make of it, not what everyone else does

and in your theory, nor was your old polo

No my polo wasn't that was just low as well. In my opinion, it's very hard to make a car "stanced", i.e. Rims nearly touching arches, just the right amount of tuck and poke and the right amount of rake.

As you say though, its what you make of it, but there seems to be a lot of people these days running 15" rims on a slammed car and saying its got stance. You are a lot closer to it than most of them though.

I'm still unsure of whether to go slammed and smoothed again, or motorsport style but with a few euro style bits such as smoothing etc. on mine.

oh yeah if the new buyer takes the car off my hands, can show them what wheels I was gonna get for her, and give the maths for the correct offsets/widths too, trust me would of looked crazy

I've spent a little more, including a tad smoothing, sound system etc.

Think I definitely know which car I'm getting now, not a Bora unfortunately
Same engine but £400 less on insurance, and still looks sexy if modded correctly
