Suj's Stanced MK2 Ibiza GTI Dub :D.....SHE'S GONEEEEE :( (Last Pics, pg29)

tracking and camber done yesterday

feels like a brand new car, wish I had it done ages ago!

top bloke at Aline in dudley, highly recommend them, will be using them from now on :)

Suj, can you tell me what Aline charged you to get the tracking etc done? Pm me if you want.

I live in Kidderminster, so only down the road, and nowhere can do the tracking etc on my car because of the ride height! And I'm definitley not raising it back up!! Lol

hey mate, costed me £36 for front tracking and camber

and if you raised your car, then did camber, then lowered it...it would need doing again (as it would camber out lol)

they got my car on (and mine don't go onto anything lol) had to use the longer ramps to get it on

here's there link to site http://www.alineyourcar.co.uk/
if your rear camber can be changed, then your will be more, mine is a fixed rear axle, so only £36 :)

no problem mate :)

Update

been travelling up and down to coventry for my graduate engineering job, she is running sweeter than sweet, but only had 80k on the clocks, I don't wanna add 85miles a day to! 420miles a week :( and as good as she is (getting 38-41mpg) I need more tbh!

So it looks like a diesel it will be :( then when funds allow me to, getting something fun! maybe in a month or 2 when I can afford to swap + cash

as I can sell the car + wheels for a decent amount, or get some crap wheels and sell them seperately (importing wider lips from germany to help the sale, as I am doing this anyway)

hopefully I get made permanent here, if so, then I can afford to run her to work (pay is very very good, and it's a dream job)

decisions decisions....if I keep her, I will be getting new wheels (already sourced, need to get shipping from america sorted though)
then splits the RM's ready for powdercoating, sell the lips, get wider ones from my contact

then will need arch work to get the wheels sitting nice, find a way to raise the engine/a modification to be made to the splitter, already been mocking it up in a CAD program lmao

who knows could maybe get the car sitting how i've always pictured in my head, or could be sold to someone else who will get her sitting right :)

If you get the job permanent Suj couldnt you keep the Ibiza as a project and get it sitting how you want/picture it and get a cheapish diesel for everyday??

I am doing roughly 200 miles a week to/from work (40 miles a day) but I suppose Im only in my 1.4 and you are in a valver so you will want to keep the miles off. Huge difference between yours 80k, and mine 127k that I hit yesterday . Depending what happens salary wise I may be keeping the 1.4 as my everyday and getting something fun for the weekends.

Good luck on getting the job permanent aswell .

put the ibiza on limited milage, buy a cheap derv! Plenty about, go on ebay limit of £500 and have a look! Be shocked what you can get from a 205 to a Passat!

thanks craig, don't get me wrong, I love it, but in 2 minds, I could save and get something like a mk4 gt tdi and dub that etc, if ya get what I mean
but I wanna finish off my Ibiza though...so 2 minds lol

yeah on the motorway she drives amazing, sits perfect and great for overtaking, but not best for fuel economy, is a 13+year old car lol

good one mate, you don't wanna lose yours too mate, its sweet as hell :D

thanks mate, I hope so too, as the money will be great, can treat my family for all the help they've given over the years :D

I know dave, but still its gonna cost me £700+ for the ibiza, then I will have no NCB on another car (so then even a 1.7d = £900+)

tbh I gotta either get one or the other, cannot afford both, maybe in a few years when I start saving, but until then 1 or the other :(

Love that motor suj, especially the colour, its gutting when you get in the position you feel you have to sell rather than upgrading. I missed my lcr so much when i got the house, selling it should have come with a health warning

thanks tim, appreciated, see comments like this make me not wanna sell it :( lol
sometimes you gotta sacrifice to make forward movement, did that with my BBS RM's, then I got another set when funds let me

gutting ain't it mate? but you got a house, and when funds let ya, another LCR (if ya haven't already? lol)

thanks :)

Thought I'd show you a couple of my mate's Bora (without hijacking your thread too much Suj?)
