Hi guys, just thought i would start a Readers Ride since i have been on here quite a while now and have changed a few things on my car although it still looks pretty much standard!

Here is how it looked when i first picked it up

Since then i have done the following

- Flip key mod
- Centre sun visor
- Alloys refurbished in Star Silver
- Side rubbing strips colour coded
- Number plate recess painted gloss black
- Exhaust tip which still needs to be welded on (embarrasing that it is bolted on!)
- Cupra handbrake gaitor
- LED side lights
- Upgrade dipped beam bulbs (considering HIDS, but they seem complicated!)
- Polo rear wiper
- Lowered 30mm on Weitec Ultra GT Kit

And this is how it looks now

Car went in today to get parking dents removed, really happy with the results and was really surprised that there were over 30 tiny dings removed :(

Cars looking good mate,

HIDS are dead easy to fit, only complicated bit (if you can call it that) is locating the ballasts but even thats more fiddly than complicated lol

Cheers, not sure tbh, the tip was on it when i bought it. Want to get a different one though as i think its a little too big. Will get the new one welded on rather than bolted

Looking good. Little things make a difference. Are those cupra seats? And what gearstick is that? It looks good.

Cheers, no the seats are 'formula sport' ones, only came on some dab ones and formula sport ones. The gearknob is just the facelift sport one. For some reason sport rider model did not have facelift knob ?

Like the subtle mods you've done, looks smart.

Have you thought about window tints?

Righto, how come? what you thinking of getting?

Does that mean there will be a Weitec Ultra GT Kit being sold seperately?

Reason for selling car is that i want something that is a diesel, more powerful and more refined than the Ibiza. I like my Ibiza but it can get tiring on my 50+ miles trip every day to work and while the engine can keep up with traffic, it can sound a bit 'busy' on the motorway at 70-80 mph. I guess you could say i want a more grown up car even though im only 18 lol

The suspension will probably go back to standard for trading in the car as mods de-value the car when trading in. I will keep you in mind for when i am looking to change. If you dont want to wait, the kit can be had for about £300 brand new from DPM performance
