found in a MK6 VW Golf forum, that noised from both sides are coming from the door locks and were fixed after tightening the door locks.
sprayed WD-40 on all door locks and my noises were gone :D
now all i've got left is the steering wheel clicking noise, which in other posts all of you are relating it to the steering column, hope anyone can find a solution to it.

hey Rob, no it's not the key, it's clicking sound from inside the steering wheel, it makes me wanna destroy it, however i dont hear it when i turn on the stereo or the windows, but just knowing that it's there is killing me.
I even have seen a forum on how to replace the steering wheel for a MK5 golf, but found that they aren't the same i can't find any screw for it, and don't wanna risk the airbag.

i would take it back to the dealar, but remember that every car makes noise on ruff roads. mine makes different noise after being sat in the sun all day but once its cooled down its fine again, plus the key makes a noise but its not loud lol

i've took it to the dealer and they advised that it's tolerable and acceptable, i insisted to check and they only tightened it up, and the sound is the same.
we have to do everything by ourselves so we can be satisfied.

Hey people. New to the forum here and I experienced the same rattling noise on my Ibiza 6J. In my case it was the fusebox screw on the right. But you shouldn't try to screw it too hard because you might break the plastic part behind the fusebox (what happened with me).

My suggestion is removing the screw, inserting a washer and tightening it with the washer.

Hope it works for you. For me it did even without the washer. :D

Cheers!

I used to own a Vauxhall and I have to say the build quality of my Cupra isn't quite at that level. In fact it's a bit shocking in places for a VAG product.

i can't live with these noises from the B-pillar & steering wheel and rear suspension and the expansion valve from the A.C

finally, seat dealer knew what is causing the noise in the steering wheel, it is the airbag coil, and there is no fix i have to replace the whole part, which costs 3000 L.E = 300 £ .
expansion valve = 250 £

under warranty though surely, so it'll cost you nothing?

I mean, they could claim that the airbag is a wear and tear part, ie. once it's been deployed, it needs replacing, but you've not deployed it, so it shouldn't need replacing, unless it's faulty, which it is, so they should replace it.
