Be very careful with bonnet bras! I kept mine on a bit longer than recommended and the paint under it bubbled up and faded! Something that was meant to protect it destroyed it!

does clearly say not to keep on too long, but I know what you mean kyle, did you clean it regurlarly?

my mate when he washed his car once a week, used to hoover it and once a month clean it
paint never did nothing on his, was designed for motorway stonechips (or long journeys) but for normal driving no real benefits than looking cool
some people even cut off the "triangles" to look cooler (these help keep them stable at fast speeds, or they flap that can damage paint too)

a friend of mine bought one off autobra for his corsa and his paint has gone all funny and he sent in pictures of his bonnet to them and they gave him his money back and he got to keep the bra... despite the warning messages and care messages they send you... :blink:

whats with the black stripes on your door , is it because you hit things when you open them :confused: :D

when i first got the car there was a little rust patch so i treated it and put them on as my drive is very narrow and has a stone wall at one side so i kept them on for safty really :)
