Not just yet bud, I'm going to change all the vacuum hoses I can, starting with the ones under the inlet manifold, then give her a full service

Anyone had a look at the above video? what do you guy's think, I'm doubting now whether it's actually been stage 1 mapped.

Well, its getting up to 1.0 bar roughly, which is 14.5 PSI iirc. Mine boosts to about 0.6 bar standard map, so its possible just your other mods alone are helping you to this reading. I'm not convinced its mapped mate

well it does spike higher in 5th and 6th to about 1.3 on the motorway, but yeah I don't think it's been mapped now, is there any other way other then putting on on a ECU reading machine to confirm whether it has been remapped?

Fitted DV Relocation kit:

Started to make a flutter/chatter sound now which I'm trying to get to the bottom of. I'm a bit concerned as I know these engines are not suppose to make this sound.

Hope you find an answer mate, looks very tidy :)

Have you done any logs to see the actual/requested boost ands airflow? That would soon tell you if it had been mapped

Well, the DV relocation didn't go well, I had a really loud FLUTTER/CHATTER noise which scared the crap out of me, I made a thread about it earlier and tried everything suggested to no avail, to I reverted back to normal, and hey presto! no more flutter/chatter

I also made a thread on uk-mkivs, and only one person replied!!? but with an answer which did cross my mind, they said that it's because I'm using a YELLOW spring on a Stage 1 map with Stage 2 mods, not enough boost pressure to open/close DV

I don't have the resources to to run logs, yet! need to invest in the registered version of VAG Com

Your welcome mate, a lot of hard work has gone in to this car, and a HUGE update to come.

As for your DV mate, I really couldn't say, I'm running a Forge 007p and before that a generic eBay copy, both work exactly the same and worked fine, maybe open up the DV and inspect it closer? and the charge pipe / DV hose connecting the DV ?

nice work mo, loving your mods :)

Thanks mate, glad to see some love for my car.

UPDATE:

C360_2010-10-1114-26-26.jpg

Fitted the facelift front bumper, I think it looks awesome!, Changed the FMIC silicon to BLACK, a bit more discreet?

The right hand grill fits straight on, the left grill doesn't go on because of the inter-cooler pipe poking out a bit, now I have two options, re-route / re-pipe it so it sits further back (bumper off again + more hassle) or cut the grill a little bit?

Anyway more to come soon!, rear bumper and side skirts waiting to be fitted.
