Got to say Scott i prefer the VRS models they look better than the mk4 but thats my opinion!

So you got the fastest time in Shugs car? Ill make sure hes driving if we ever go down the strip  think ill need all the advantages i can get

You get any videos on the strip?

yeh mate im kinda settled now with the VRS, think im gonna go for one. haha yeh i have a few videos from yesterday will need to get them up, the dsg gives slow reaction times but the beast has no problems catching up and leaving th opponent in the rear view, think were going up again at the end of next month, seats out and on full boost, care to join us? bring the cupra and we shall play ahaha, i might bring the furby (if i have it) . honestly is great fun, found it nerveracking the first time but when you do 2-3 times you just want to keep going and going, would be scarier in a manual of course lol.

I have changed my mind about the Fabia over the last day. I think it looks good now kinda chunky, it would be my choice anyway. Plus you have had the Ibiza for 3.5 years.....i have had mine for a year and i am bored lol

Have to say I think the Furby VRS and the Ibiza FR are very evenly matched, I'd pick an Ibiza though as I think it looks better. BUT I wouldn't do that if I'd already owned an Ibiza of some sort, I'm a firm believer in never buying the same car twice...

The only pitfalls I think with the Fabia is the VW Polo-esque dreary, boring dash and interior (more boring than an Ibizas interior, although better made). But it sounds like you have that sorted Scott, with re-trims and what not, so that shouldn't be a problem with one you buy.

thats it mate, i honestly believe i would get the FR and think awesome this is great then it will be BAM!! im bored, why do i have another ibiza? i would be doing mods i have done before and buying parts ive bought before.

the furby is a new car with new mods and new potential, means i can broaden my horizons, heh at the end of the day i might not like it but you dont know these things till you try, people seem to be afraid to leave behind what they know, but theres alot more cars out there than just seats.

Exactly! I'm completely sure I'd feel the same way, there's nothing much more for you to achieve if you bought another Ibiza. Don't get me wrong, if you did buy another Ibiza I'm sure that once you'd finished modding it would be better than your 1.2 (as I've said before, getting another Mk4 would be your 2nd attempt), but there's only so much that can be done before the boredom kicks in.

Absolutely. I'm a VAG car fan, come from a family of them! We've had each of the "big four", mum and dad have an Audi (A6) and a VW (T5 Transporter van), whilst I've had a Skoda (Octavia) and now the Ibiza. To be honest, as long as it's VAG you can't go far wrong.
