G1NG3R damn your signature picture is HUGGE, does it not annoy you?

Thanks for the kind comments people, I thought I might as well take some detailed pictures and make a wee guide to help.

Forge 007p fitted with YELLOW spring:

Ain't noticed any difference but I guess it's for the better

3" K&N Air Duct fitted:

Tidied inter-cooler piping:

IMAG0372.jpg

Inter-cooler looks un-aligned because of the front bumper plastic lower grill which unclips itself from the right had side, do they make after market ones? I was thinking of going black mesh.

IMAG0374.jpg

some more bumper trimming, required mesh, tidy finish

The charge pipe hose to DV kept popping off, not any more!, t-bolt it's ass.

New goodies arrived yesterday:

Might sound a silly question but when you mount the intercooler are the mounting holes already there on the car or do you have to drill them I'm getting one of these kits also roughly how long to install

Good work fella, interested in the FMIC, shame had to loose the fogs but as you say no biggie.
Did you loose any boost pressure fitting the FMIC kit?

Never used fog lights since I've been driving, no bud, didn't loose any boost pressure, in fact it's a better constant hold of boost @ 1.1

They are mine now! well until I get all the bits I need to fit them!

Tip, I loved fitting it!,

Perfect fit on to the turbo!, yes I need to tighten the jubilee clamp, it keeps slipping off

Had to lube the **** of out of it to fit / pop through that tight hole :cartman: that oil is from the breather hose that split, can't be bothered to clean it yet.

Thanks bud, yes both front back and side skirts, I'm just waiting for all the in between bits to fit this face-lift kit, you'd have thought it's a straight swap, there's more fiddling than meets the eye!

To be truthfully honest mate, I could have easily bought a LCR kit for the same price but didn't do it, why? well the way I look at it is this, why kit your car up to be something that it ain't? If I had a LCR kit on a LC and lined up next to a LCR, the LCR would leave me for dead, pretty pointless and embarrassing, you know I'm right! it's like having Angelina Jolie as a girlfriend while practising Abstinence, only way i'd put a LCR kit on a LC is if I had a BIG TURBO, that's never going to happen

The LC face-lift kit is ok, because after all it's still a LC, just slightly tarted up. Shame mine never had the kit fitted from factory, considering it's a '02 plate, missed out by 2 months on the log book!
