take the door card off you mite have water in there

if not you can have a good look round the electrical i thought inside the manual there is a fuse layout

best thing to do is check them all mate, try get ya hands on a power probe! but if it was a fuse i would of thought the prob was on more than one door! ill have a word with lad at work tomoz he worked on VAG until he moved to us! may be able to say straight away. i know if the door pin is faulty the light wont come on and it will also lock becouse it wont know the door has been opened! would start with that.
