light tints look good  I used the fly eyes tint on mine as well, they faded and went a bit yellowy after 6 months or so though so watch out for that :(

Well as they only cost a tenner it's not a big cost to replace :)

been umming and arrring about this mod for a while now

however surfing the UK Passat forum is a dangerous thing. In my aim to achieve a cleaner look and more simple lines on the car I have just purchased this

Also got a nice white uk passat sticker to put on tonight as well and got to start getting my ass into gear about the engine parts as well...no where near finishing these yet, as well as dewipering the back...tick tock tick tock

Going to purchase some white caliper paint at the end of the month as well

I sense a day off being needed before Edition......:(

Famously said everything will be done in time (that I can do for the show) and now its fast turning into a panic/last minute rush

I am getting the E-tech brake kit. Used this on my Leon and it was excellent. The red was really red and did not fade at all

Got round to fitting the badgeless grill tonight. Was a bit fiddly with the bonnet catch but got there in the end

spot the difference between the OEM one (lower grill in the picture) and the new replacement one

Why oh why VW did not drill the holes out on the OEM one. Theplastic air feed literally sits directly behind the vented holes, note the word "vented"....so how the airbox has been getting air from the OEM grill I have no idea!

The new grill was an excellent factory like fit, and even better with all the holes very neatly cut. Should see a little improvement in performance (ha ha, performance and my car in the same sentence sound funny)

either way, I am very pleased with the result

Spot the difference

My Heko wind deflectors arrived today. They are excellent quality, so I am looking forward to getting these fitted tomorrow hopefully

On the final stages of finishing two out of the three engine covers. Lacquering one up and the other just needs a few more coats and then I can lacquer that one too.

Picking up the CF engine bay bits too on Tuesday night, so I cant wait for that too. Going to look awesome

Also removed the bonnet lining tonight as it was a quick job, so will be cleaning that at some point, along with some stickerage :D

Must have been bloody asthmatic with the standard grill lol

Horrendous isn't it! No large objects will get in there as the bonnet protects it well, but I dont understand VW's design in feeding quite a nice air feed which fits very nicely onto the grill, to then cover it up....

Shame I dont have some before and after logs of the g/s, but im sure it will be an improvement

Shame I wont have the wheels or springs on in time for E38, but thats for next year

Rome wasn't built in a day ;)
