Thanks for the warning, but they all fit in the turbo and on the oil feed line, I've tried them.

Here's the latest progress pics, not much left to do now, I have to fit the CAT section of the exhaust underneath, refit the lambda sensors, drain the oil and fit the oil return pipe.

Running off wastegate pressure until it's mapped:

The intercooler pipe is temporary, I have asked Forge to make me one in alloy.

More soon! :D

Well I got my car started up today, after filling up with fresh Millers CFS and coolant, I fired it up and let it run for a bit, then re-checked the levels and topped up the oil and coolant. All seems fine, no leaks found, no fault codes or check lights - all good! :D

Just got to get it mapped now, still no reply from David Manson though. :(

Top motor with an awesome engine spec... : )

I see you had the ina engineering baffled sump and now you have the bdm baffled sump, any reason for the change? just i was looking at buying a ina sump and wanted a heads up....

I didn't need the sump at the time so I sold it, but when I was rebuilding my engine I got the chance of the BDM sump for cheap, so I took it as I could afford it then.

I prefer the BDM sump anyway TBH because it has big skid plates and the OE oil return pipe fits the BDM sump, on the INA sump you have to make up your own return hose and buy AN fittings etc.

efr 6758 here i come
looking good mate, your sump is that plate on the bottom to stop the sump smashing as im not sure if i should get a sump like yours or buy a sump guard and what dogbone bush do you have fitted, the link for the insert didnt work,
love the front bumper mate, the big space at front looks good

Still no word back from Dave Manson, so maybe he's not interested in mapping my car? If I can't get hold of him, I'm not waiting around forever, so I'm kinda stuck as I don't want to ask and I don't think Jim @ Star would map my car. Other than those two there is nobody else in Scotland?

Any suggestions?

What about Russ that used to work at wallace? I have been hearing nothing but good news about his mapping recently... Not sure about VAG cars though but on the jap stuff he is apparently the bees knees. Maybe work a call.

He is now at Performance HQ in Dalgety Bay.
