Car is looking and sounding amazing!!

What's the exhaust sound like from inside the car? Any louder? Do you think it would drone when doing motorway speeds?

Remap should complete things nicely! Although I'm guessing you'll always want more!!

I have a blueflame, i find the car only really drones when your doing 80-90 on the motorway! But when cruzing along at 30 can hardly hear anything, i tend to have all my windows open gives a really nice sound! :)

Ape, i remember the 206 being for sale on PC2 and the evo you were looking at, just seen this and never realised you were on here.

Really nice motor, loving the red.

Looks and sounds good Ape! Your dump valve sounds nice too, but do you have a bit of reversion happening? Apparently not good for the turbo.

I don't know which way the dump valve that Ape has should be run, but from the video it sounds the dumped air isn't going into the air filter, but is going back into the turbo??

Cheers lads,

Its a Turbosmart Dualport Valve which is set to silent/full recirculating :cartman: Because the Filter is an Open Cone you hear the D/V dump back into the TIP but the noise comes back out of the filter rather than the valve if you see what I mean. It's not set to VTA :)

Great looking car sounds really nice mate, im at the same point as you now, all i need is a remap! What remap you thinking of going for? :)

Cheers matey. I'm booking the car in with Will @ Performance Torque. Hopefully looking at getting it down in the next 2 weeks :D

As Hilla said below, there's no droning, I tested it on the motorway and it was fine :) It's quite bass-y inside the car, but I've got very little interior though. After the Map that should do for this year (maybe). Although I'll want more, it'll do as I need to divery attention and money to my home next!

After being in the car tonight, I can say that it doesn't drone, just gets much louder on full boost. At 30mph part-throttle there's hardly any noise at all.

Werd [B)] It's pretty quiet until the turbo spools up, then the tone changes completely (in a good way). I was worried it would be too loud, but it seems ok at the moment.

Aye, and man, hasn't PC2 gone to the dogs :cartman: ah well, this place is much better!

Aye, I was thinking about the 007p but it would only be for the Bling Factor as I've got a perfectly good DV at the mo.

Haha, yeah sounds about right, p-torque is a good choice, ive heard nothing but good things about them, should see some nice gains with what you have allready.

I went to a Rolling Road day there and was impressed by the setup and Will himself. Looking forward for him to do the final bit and pull all of the hard work together that's been done by myself, Hilla, Techie and Ade (My Spannering Friend) @ A & E Automotive :)

Ape, getting logs of the boost and MAF flow would be the way I would choose my mapper now.
RR graphs mean feck all.
Why have you decided to go with P Torque??

Ape

You misread my friend. Could be the way I've written it.

P-Torque have had many good reviews, and I've struggled to find any negatives from those who have experience with them. When I was at the RR day I had a good chat with Will and they're local to me as well being only 20minutes away so any problems I could have can be sorted quickly.

Logs and MAF Flow, to be honest I don't know what are good figures and what aren't. I'm more interested in how it performs on the track than on rollers. People have asked me what power I want from the car after all this work, I've said typically as close to 300bhp as possible and over 300lb ft but in reality I don't know what to expect. As long as the delivery is improved and accelaration is better I dont mind :)
