Lol yeah, must be like steel bands!
Here's a quick pic of the AD08's now fitted. The sidewalls are very flat.
Some more bits ready to go on the car. Got a new pair of wishbones and the Superpro bushes for them, nowhere round here to fit them so I sent them to JBS to be fitted:
JBS did them and sent them back within 2 days, so huge thanks to JBS, they only charged 1/2 an hours labour as well!
New titanium-wrapped downpipe, secured with lockwire:
Only cost £20 for the wrap. http://www.agriemach.com/product_in...cts_id=1254&osCsid=hphivfk8c493a3olc1ivi7lpd3
Another bit of feedback on the tyres, was driving in the rain and wet roads today, didn't seem to affect the AD08's at all, plenty of grip and that's before they're scrubbed in. So far I am very pleased with these tyres.
They are dscribed by Yokohama as 'dual duty' street and track tyres.
Looking back at my older power figures, I said this after being on the Wallace dyno:
If you remember from a page back, after my logs I said this:
"LC sensor in LCR housing, LCR housing is 16% larger. 219 x 16% = 35. 219 + 35 = 254g/s.
254 x 1.25 = 317.5bhp."
317.5bhp ................. and today it made ................. 317.3bhp!!!!!!!!!
I reckon the turbo is making around 297bhp and the WMI and advanced timing around 20bhp on top.
My current airflow figure is 236g/s, up from 219g/s at Wallace (different manifold, intercooler, ported head and more boost now), so using the same formula it is:
236 x 16% = 37.76, so is 236 + 37.76 = 273.76g/s of airflow.
273.76 x 1.25 = 342.2bhp! Makes me think twice about changing this setup for a bigger turbo.
what did it actually do on a dyno last time?
