400 :0 that's sick haha sack that! Mk4 doesn't seem too bad then! Yeh the polo I got my eye on has decent mods already, 220hp and 270 ftlb's torque so should be good fun! Keep getting timewasters with mine like, getting rather annoying now! Sure you had the same with yours haha

Yeh I had loads of messing around. Nothing is genuine until they show you the notes!

Turning to the Dub side? ;)

Dont diss the 10psi boost of a cupra it still puts a smile on my face

As for the car dude id keep it if it was me seems like you've really put alot of time into it, i reckon maybe you would regret it once it had sold!

Get a derv - or at least a trip in one! :D

Or hybrid yours and get 20 odd PSI on a K04! :D

My Ibiza would've gone down from £115 to £110 this year. Although the R32 is gonna be £245 end of the month. :( The Mk5 R32 is £400 though! For the newer Mk5 R's.

As standard, 20vt's are crap dude. You need a decent map and a few goodies to get some poke. The diesel's boost to 24ish psi on a good remap. As standard, the 20vt's boost to about 6-10psi. Get more humpfh out of a hairdrier.

Hang on a minute! You forget that us 20VT people have vacuum too, so we can still accelerate at 0psi.. does a derv do that? :p Also, I see 25psi boost out of mine and you know it's that little bit quicker than your million torques diesel was ;)

stage two k03s see around 24 without hybrid treatment.

Crack on then! That's more like it! :D

My derv would throttle away at 3/5psi when I was on limp mode.

Your rings are gonna go soon though - or you're gonna put a conrod through the side. :cartman:

And yeh yours was quicker, the old derv bus was quite a bit heavier than yours! She was a tank unlike your feather :D

haha not helping the fact i've got everyone telling me to keep it! I just get bored too easy and next stage i was going to take the car would cost a fair whack of money :( got a lad off another forum whos currently trying to sell his ctr to get the reddies, he looks after his cars loads etc so would be happy to strike a deal with him if and when his car sells.

Yeh Mic, will have to get some before it goes maybe!

Someone needs to swap me their stage 2 petrol cupra for a few months, then swap back haha

i seen that you had replied and thought you would be trying to flog me your set-up :cartman: how did you find the air-ride honestly? I was thinking i would find it a pain and maintenance could be a major issue?

Hows the mk5 treating you mate?

air works ill give it that.....i had a few teething problems with mine, blowing lines,a broken reed valve in the compressor etc etc and the fronts dropped pressure over the course of a few hours (nothing major)

ride wise its not much different to coilovers - a little softer if anything

but the novelty wears off after a year or so lol

Mk5 world is nice...im liking it :D

Mine has been down on power for the last few months, Will :(

Clutch, boost problems and stripped thread in the turbo so the turbo>mani gasket is blowing at 15>psi. Clutch is done, boost problem sorted and I'm doint the stripped thread in the turbo on Tuesday.

So I can turn the timing back up and be back to full power again :D

Youneed to lend me it then,Damo! See if you speak the truth :p haha I am set on a stage 2 polo, or possibly a cupra if a decent lowmileage one pops up, as they seem to be cheaper.

How many miles do you commute now Damo? I'll be doing a fair whack so how long I'll end up keeping the next car will depend on what cruising mpg is like haha
