Youneed to lend me it then,Damo! See if you speak the truth :p haha I am set on a stage 2 polo, or possibly a cupra if a decent lowmileage one pops up, as they seem to be cheaper.

How many miles do you commute now Damo? I'll be doing a fair whack so how long I'll end up keeping the next car will depend on what cruising mpg is like haha

Stage 2 is not for you if you're after mpg Scott...sat at 60 I got just under 40mpg the other weekend, around town I see 20-30mpg, motorways 30-40mpg.

I do 50 miles per day now. About 10-12miles of 30mph driving and the rest national speed limmit. I average about 34-35mpg..

I normaluy have a steady drive to work (@ 05:10 am ) as you dont want to be early to work, which yealds 37-38mpg. But on the way home I dont hang around (well you wouldnt after a 12.5hr shift would you...) and normaly yeald 30-32mpg..

You can easy get 40mpg but thats not what you have a stage 2 cupra for is it :D

With very little boostage ;)

It's around town driving that kills it, I only commute a small distance, sometimes crawling in traffic, so that's what hammers me.

Yeh basically the same car as the Ibiza fr 1.8t just fancy the change in looks! Didn't realise how cheap corsa vxrs are either, I'd be tempted just by the interior haha shame they melt pistons and arnt vag!

Sale is getting there Nick. Plenty of timewasters and dreamers! Got a couple of people that are potentially actually gonna get it. Will just see!

Haha yeh loads off the old ccuk on here and cheers mate, not interested are you? Haha

Petrol is definately the way forward like scott :) Ive started to get the bug back now, got a bit of money left over from my birthday, so its either put a little extra towards them and get coilovers, or get a decat and have some left over for springs ....

Help :)
