The Ibiza's replacement....

Right guys and girls!

Bit of an update.

Before:

During (not as much of a pig as I thought it would be!!!)

The cap needed a bit of trimming as it does with the Polo rear wiper on the Ibiza's. So sanded it back with a bit of P80 grit, then went over it with P600 to make the finish like new - not great pics cos phone camera hasnt got any focus!

Mk4? Bet you miss it? Na I get 28mpg on a daily basis, going to the gf's house I can get 32-36 average!

Thanks fella. I really like the Mk4 R32. I think the Mk5's are ok with the Recaro interior, but they dont quite do it as much for me???? Saw a Mk6 R at the weekend, it was ok and I think it'd grow on me, possibly replacement when the time comes??? Just a shame they've lost the V6. I'm not against the 2.0t - they're a great lump! Just not got "that" noise.

Thanks fella! REALLY appreciate it! Coming from a black car to silver, I was worried I'd lose my shine. Admittedly it's not the same, but silver can still give a decent reflection!

Next, I'm afraid is boring stuff.

I've just paid £245 for 12 months tax. Next it'll be tyres which will be another £400-£600 depending on which tyres I choose.

Sounds mint now, but I want it more for the power increase. I've heard the manifolds make a susbstantial improvement.
