Just pulled up back home, with car in one piece and running as smoothly as when it left.
It's stood up to a lot of abuse this weekend so I'm pleased to see the money I spent trying to make it as reliable as possible seems to be paying off. It's no wonder that track is a renowned car killer.
seen your car down the road from where we are staying. not seen it out on track though.
Cool I was keeping an eye out for yours but didn't see it. Whereabouts were you staying?
There was a Stage 2 K03S Cupra R staying at our place too
Great updates! Break into the 8's!!!
Without the accident I had to stop for on the last lap I think that would have been a high 8, bit gutting really but something to work on for next time.
After coming off track and looking over a video there's a few lines I got completely wrong which undoubtedly cost me a lot, but I'll work on those
Standing in the car park when the track shut last night I overheard a guy who was disappointed with a few "slow" 8:40s, though I felt better when he said he was running a 600 BHP Evo!
nice one mate, i need to get my back side back to the ring! missing it too much!
Safe trip home mate, i might be in touch about a few other questions i have for you
Cheers mate, yes you do!
How many times have you been over?
No worries, just give me a shout whenever.

Cool sounds good, yeah they handle very nicely
lol, I'll let you know when I'm next heading over - hopefully before the end of the year. Such an awesome place, I think I'd actually live there if I could.
I bet you´ll need a few days to get down to earth now
Nice time and a couple of more rounds you´ll be hitting low 8´s.
From what you´re writing it looks like there´s bin a lot of accident on the track? Did you feel safe out on the track?
Prebs
lol very true, cheers Prebs. To be honest my first few laps were quite humbling as it showed how little I remembered from my last trip and the need to smoothen up my lines, but all good.
After 3-4 laps it was all coming back together and I'm sure with a good clean run I could break into mid-high 8s without much trouble now, though there's always a small voice telling you to hold back and keep the car on the tarmac, especially when you see some of the wrecks that get towed off.
From memory I think I saw at least 1-2 cars off the track on each lap, with several track closures over the weekend too from some serious incidents. When I came through on my last lap these two Porsches had only just crashed and there was debris all over the track, you have to think fast and keep your wits about you.
If I actually thought about how potentially dangerous it is out there I'd probably never do another lap - you just have to know your limits and keep an eye in your mirrors. If you treat it with respect you can have a great time out there.
I tried to catch a video of my last lap using a pencil cam strapped to a seatbelt but the angle was set too high
I'm going to check out the normal photography sites though to see what shots have been taken as there were loads of photographers out
