Right, small update.
Like I said in a previous post, the car has been stripped and a new steering wheel has been fitted. No door cards or speakers.
My carbon boot floor and Seat Sport baffled sump turned up today (Thanks Alex!) and I'm really pleased with them. The boot floor was made for a Mk3, so isn't a completely snug fit, but it'll do until I make one up myself. The sump won't be fitted until the car gets a service, or I fit an oil cooler, which ever one comes first.
I've also had a few other bits arrive over the past few weeks:
Badger 5 braided front brake hoses.
And LCR injectors.

It's only a 1.5mm sheet carbon, so no weight can be put on it. I'm going to be relocating the battery to the boot, so it's just there to cover up that.

goes really well with silver interior. i wish mine was that clean.
Cheers dude, I still need to secure it down properly. Honestly, it's not that clean. The front end is slaughtered and the rear arches are rusting.

im trying to find a use for those to mounts next to the strut tops that were for the seatbelt anchors. i wonder if a bar across there will make it stiffer at the back.
I'm not sure if it would or not. I'm half tempted to take the angle grinder to mine, just to neaten it up. It's not like the rear seats are ever going back in it!

i dont think there that noticible. im gonna leave my soundproofing on cos i dont fancy spending a day taking it off. i have alot less than what you had. maybe pedro ran out?
You need a certain type of drill bit to get those spot welds off otherwise you might make a mess attacking it with a grinder.
Our canoe polo boats made from about 1.5mm are damn strong. You could easily put a fair bit of weight on that.
I think I'll leave it all in then. Don't really need the hastle of removing it all if it's going to make it look worse!

Cheers Dave. I'd thought about doing it a long time ago, then noticed Alex had done it when I was reading his feature. I will eventually get door cards and make a few other bits up.
The carbon itself is strong, but there's nothing supporting it underneath. Mine won't have anything stored ontop of it anyway so it should be alright.
It's easy once you got the knack, key is to centre pop the weld go easy with the cutter and lightly sand off the pip with a flap wheel afterwards.

I've started sorting a few bits on it today, as well as working on the 8v.
Both rear arch liners have been removed on the 20vt for the yearly arch clean. I'm hopefully going to give the rear calipers a mini service tomorrow night to prevent them from sticking. I've also got a bit of undersealing to do on both cars.
Update time:
The Ibiza had it's MOT at the beginning of June and went through with no advisories
I've not really done much else to it. It had boosting problems caused by a faulty sensor, but apart from that it's just been driven. It's going to be off the road for a few months as of Tuesday, so I can finish off bits of the interior that I started back in May. I will also be selling my Recaro reclining buckets for some fixed back Corbeau's, and hopefully getting the dash flocked. I'll also be aiming to get an oil cooler sorted and the baffled sump on, ready for a possible trackday around November time.
I'm also thinking about getting the cage painted silver to match the body colour.
