ah right i was told 30mm would be fine, but saying that, it does sound wide. another guy on here went for 30mm all around and it looked good. might go 25mm around

sorry not trying to down your idea, i'm up for width, was gonna run 8J ET14 wheels on rear :headhurt: lol

but you would possibly need smaller, if you were closer you could tried some 20mm's i am getting soon!
i might go for 25mm on rears if i do decide on some D90's

but then again i was think 7 & 8's, you got 6 & 8's so the 8's might need a bit more, but i'm into my staggered look :)

wheels look gorgeous, can i ask how much they cost to refurb?

Yea i hopefully found some 25mm for the fronts, then 30mm for the rear i have to find, i like the staggered look to!

Most people seem to go either 20 or 25mm front 30mm rear

Yea no probs, £45 a wheel, and the job is amazing, need to get them in the sun to see it, you can see your face init!

sounds good to me mate, 30's are a bit harder to find used, 15-25's more common :)

sweet mate, looks great :D
what tyres you gonna run them on?

Not totally sure. Think 195 front 205 back, but not to keen on stretch just cos it's a little dodgy lol. Any ideas guys?

195 on the 8J = just slightly stretched mate
and if you haven't done any arch work done + your 30mm adaptors, you'll need stretch to get it under the arch

i would do 195's all round tbh

Hi guys, ive looked everywhere on net and cant find a definate answer!

Does anybody know what the stock tire size would have been for 16inch 8J and 6J Porsche D90's?

I think 6J was 205 and 8J was 225???

Think im gona go 6J - 195/45 and 8J - 205/45

Finally had time for a update on the old girl, started a new job working in London so been busy moving and not had much time but had more money to now spend on it and get her looking good.

Went for 195/45/16 Tires for the Front and 205/40/16 for the Rear, I love the look but when I wear out the front tires I will get something more like 175 or 185 for bit more stretch!

Went for Falken Ziex -

Then found some H&R Adapters of a guy on here for a bargin! 20mm all around -

And then the rear brakes were getting thin so got hold of Badger5 for a great set of Grooved discs to match the fronts I had few months back -

Thanks for the comments guys :) much appriecated!!

The total closure kit is just a small box that you wire in to a plug by the fuse box so when you lock the car from the fob it puts up the windows. You can do it from the key in the drivers door as standard but I don't know why they didn't mark it possible to do it via the fob from standard!
