Welcome to our new sponsor Lecatona, a brand dedicated to enhancing performance for VAG group sports cars, including SEAT, Audi, Volkswagen and Škoda. Specializing in High Pressure Fuel Pump (HPFP) upgrades.
The FR, Cupra and Boc come with hill hold standard along with ESP, EBA and tyre pressure monitoring. On all other models it is an optional extra. That is according to the information pack I have. It also says all cars over 100PS come with XDS added too. Hope this helps.
It cant be deactivated, but it is not annoying at all. (it is for manuals but not for the dsgs) But it is not something you will need. The dsg does the same. When you stop and let off the brakes, the hill hold will keep you stoped for 2 sec and after that the dsg will start moving the car forward even if its uphill.
That's exactly what mine is like and half the time the brake pedal can be pressed down and other times there's too much pressure that it can't be pressed down any further - and i thought this would help me figure out when it was working and when it wasn't but it didn't - so i've given up with it....
