Are they the one's your waiting for ?

The ones I bought were slightly different, they clip on just like the standard ones. Also, critically they were cheaper! Thing is i've given up waiting for him, I've sent so many emails and had nothing back since the end of January. I've bought two sets from two different people now and got both refunded. The last guy I bought from said he could supply me with lots of sets in the future, but whe wasn't sure when. Shame.

Nice addition to the family

For safety sakes ditch the gloves when your using this.
It's less safe to wear those than it is without as if your gloves get caught up on this your in trouble before you get a chance to react.
With bare skin your natural reactions will save any issues as you naturally will pull your had away if it touches the wheel.

Nice addition and will make polishing much quicker and easier.

Good point noted mate ;)

i bet you still end up using the drill with the mop as with polishing big items there isnt enough room with using a bench grinder but they are really handy for small items with is being fixed to a bench.

I'm not expecting to be able to use it on every thing but it should help a lot, The new mops are bigger than my old ones aswell which I can use in the drill :D

did you finish the washer bottle darren carnt see a update mate:whistle:

TBH I had to cut a few corners  The frame was made for 4mm card which it very porous so I used HD carpet tape to stick the carbon to the card, the problem is the tape was white and you can see it through the weave, I might be able to salvage it

Thought I'd come on here and steal Daz's thunder...

He robbed me of my Neuspeed 28mm rear ARB today.

and my Forge 007p (yellow spring)

and my stubby c2 arial

It was a lovely day, not wet at all:

I imagine he will have chucked it at a few roundabouts by now and will probably have noticed a difference.

Cue the man himself...

Hi Matey :D

Hope you are well. Cupra looks very nice mate. Bet is goes like a rocket.

I am saving up for my black 225BHP mk1 cupra and hopefully if things go well purchase one next year. (Can't wait):D I am thinking of either getting a revo remap done (Stage 1 Revo remap done but also have seen a custom code remap that can shoot the BHP from 225 standard to 275BHP. The only thing that is making the decision tuff is Revo they maybe just 10BHP short of of custom code 275bhp but the Revo they maintain your standard MPG so I will get not only more power, torque, responce etc but also remain with standard MPG which I want (wouldn't complain if they make it better though). On the other hand with Custom Code remap they don't mention anything about improving or maintaining the mpg?

Also the reason why I contacted you is because I realise your cupra is at 274BHP. If I did go with the remap from Custom Code and boost it up to 275BHP I don't want to suffer with torque steer or gearbox or driveshaft problems? As your cupra is around this BHP mark do you suffer with any of this? Just thought I would enquire as I know the Cupra isn't fitted with Revo knuckles system like the 2009 Focus RS to stop torque steer.

If you have any other advice on what I have explained about that would be much appreciated to :)

Sorry if I haven't made any sence or confused you buddy. lol.

Well done on the car once again. [B)]

Cheers
Chris

BHP figures mean very little mate, although they're good for pub talk! Look at torque figures and more importantly the power curve. Having 400 bhp means nothing if you only have 100 of it available till 7000 rpm

The AmD map is good, that is what I have and also what DK is running.

torque steer isn't an issue off boost and you wont have driveshaft or transmission issues on a well maintained LCR

Let me know if you want to buy your black LCR this week lol

As EmDee said really.
Also dont take too much notice of what power a mappers say's they can produce, I have seen other cars with the same mods and map as mine not make the power mine has made,

As for torque steer if you dont want it then dont buy a high powered front wheel drive car, they all do it no matter what you do to them,
Mine does pull a bit if you nail it but in everyday driveing it's not a problem.
Gearbox and driveshaft's seem to cope with the extra power with no problem's

Depending on the weather hopefully I'll get to see how it improves the ride, it has made the rear of the car a bit heavier and planted.
I'm also hopeing to get the 007 on tomrrow :D

P.S thanks Martin ;)
