Hurdy, what ET are your 17" wheels? It seems theres only a choice of 48 and 40. Does ET 40 stick out too much if the wheel is 8" wide?

Both mine are 45 offset - ordered direct.

ET 40 would be a push with 8" alloys if you are lowered. It would mean the wheels stick out 17mm more than stock.

im also seriously considering some bbs, they just look too good. looking at rimstyle, i take it these will be the real lightweight bbs, and not the replicas which some places sell that are probably every bit as heavy as my oem wheels? was looking at either the cv or co in 17", theyre not too expensive, the only other 17" bbs that fit the fr are the ch, and theyre just too expensive i think. anyone got any pics of co or cv on theyre leon? again though, worried 17 might look silly?

went ahead and ordered 17" bbs co's from rim style today, should be here on thurs. ordered them without tires, hoping the tires from my fr alloys will fit? if they do itll save me a few £ cause theres still plenty of tread left. anyone know if the standard 17" fr alloys are 7 or 7.5" wide? the bbs are 7.5.
next problem is suspension. still on stock suspension, looking at eibach springs, just not sure wether to go for the pro ones or the sportlines. any suggestions? itll have to be low enough to make the 17's look good
