I've been musing for sometime, the last two and a half years since I got my first CUPRA Ateca, about an upgrade to the wheels for, OE sized, summer use; I run 18s with appropriate tyres in the winter (not strictly necessary in SE England but a legacy of when I would have an early frosty morning commute).
Upgrading to OE spec 'copper' wheels is pricey and only look better(?) as they're still c. 14.5kg per wheel.
The likes of OZs, which I like the look of, and can be lighter too, are also pricey.
Therefore, wheels switched on Thursday for AK for a new summer set replacing my OE 19" with a set of Team Dynamics Pro Race LTs, also 19" but slightly wider at 8.5J. More importantly, they're around 4.5kg per wheel lighter.
Also popped a new set of Pirelli PZero PZ4 on.
The Continental Winter tyres that I've taken off have covered c.16,500 mike over three seasons and, being down to 3mm-4mm, are shot. :-k :-k
