when you say it like that it really is amazing what a differance an air intake makes to a standard car

true but what did the car dyno stock? Most are dynoing around 260hp, so lets say 25 to 30hp gain.

it's about 10 bhp for every £100 you spend on buying it! 
I'm having mine dyno'd tomorrow, stock and after revo.
Still want the ITG but no funds left after revo this month so gone for a pipercross replacement air filter as cheapo alternative.
ITG does seem the one most sort after even if at £370 a touch pricey imho.

I'm looking at getting mine Revo'd as its the closest dealer to me.

the intermittent (car specific) Revo stg 2+ flat spot.
I have a mod planned for April, and it will be interesting to see it it resolved this issue for those that are having this problem.
I still maintain it is hardware specific (not the code), but we will see.
Yes and from what i understand likely to break the first time you remove it anyway!!
Removing mine in 10 mins to put the new filter in b4 off to have it REVO'd (probably minus the engine cover!)
Shame it is wet today, not going to get the best out of the remap with my ditch finder wheels
Do people with stage1 and just an intake get the flat spot? Think thats the route I'll be going. Possibly a down pipe too.
no its only with stage 2/+ some people ar getting a flatspot, mainly revo cars aswell, there are alot of people have a rs4 part fitted soon to see if this is going to solve the problem but personnally i think it is due to the revo map being to aggresssive in the required fuel pressure but thats just me, if this is the problem then the rs4 part will fix it "hopefully"
i have got a choice of 4 maps on my car
1~ valet mode gives around 100bhp which is good for winter and the GF
2~ Stock pretty obvious really
3~ Pump this is the stage 2 remap which is roughly 310bhp
4~ Race which is supposed to be stage 2+
i am going to have the Extreme beta map intalled in 3 weeks so i am hopeing this takes me up to 360-70ish bhp
all can be chosen at the touch of a button if stationary and when on the move
great map IMHO
