It was rear ended, uneconomical to repair unfortunately.

However if it hadnt of been I wouldn't have the white one, which despite being a model with no ABS is the better of the two cars.

Well broke my cardinal rule today and cleaned and waxed not only the MK2 but the MK3 as well as looked bloody sorry for itself!

i have to agree i would choose the mk2 over the mk3 anyday she looks great mate keep it up

Yeah Kezz, mine was a Cat C write off due to being rear-ended when I bought it, deemed uneconomical to repair.

thought so all in all what did yours cost to get back on the road ?

to actually get road legal cost less than a hundred quid, including the VIC (VOSA) test.
Was a task of pretty much realigning the rear, fitting a new crash bar, a replacement boot lid and bumper, new set of rear lights as the originals were broken, bit of filler to the hind -quatrers, then it was off to the sprayers to get the boot sprayed etc.. it pretty much covers it all in my RR thread (click 'My Car' under my siggy )

Sure I saw a red hose kit on ebay. Wasnt a samco one, was from a company called venair or something like that.
