hi, i've just bought a black leon cupra. i was thinking about possibly getting some headlight masks. they only seem to come in black, but thats not a problem, as mine is black. any opinions appreciated

I wouldn't use them in the dark without HIDs as they dimmer the light a lot.

yeh, i know what you mean but i've never actually seen them on a car, they look fine on the seller sights but they may look rough when fitted, thanks anyway though

Well fitted my hids today and I get interference through my radio on the weaker stations when there on, any ideas?

Now in the market for some HIDs foe my 2003 LCR. Had a look on here and ebay and there are loads to choose from at all different prices. Have decided i want 35w 6000k ones. Can anyone post a link to some on ebay which are for sale at the moment and that have been used and recommended on here in the past? £50 seems about the price? Cheers.

My recently purchased 02 LC came with 6k dipped HIDs.

My question is, if I want to add HID fogs and sidelights do they run off of the current ballasts or do they need their own?

Don't mean to sound retarded, fitted my HID's today. Loving them so far but I tried to swap the sidelights too for white LEDS, can I ask please how the f*&! do you get the standard sidelight bulbs out of the bulb holders?

Nearly destroyed the carrier on one side trying... managed to just get it back into shape, have given up for now, any tips anyone so I can avoid another epic fail on my next attempt.

from memory they are very stiff mate, i used long nosed pliers i think to pull them out!

Installed my HID's about 2 weeks ago and am happy with them apart from one thing! This was also a problem on my standard bulbs but it became really noticeable driving through the narrow country lanes of Kent one evening gone by. Although my lights are bright, at max height they only illuminate about 4-5 metres in front of the car which is no problem in London but is useless where there are no other sources of light on the road. Is this normal or can this be rectified somehow?
