I smell a rat!!

Something is not right.

Can you take pictures of the under side of the car, suspension set up and engine bay.

There is no reason why someone would remove there brembo's.....................

Unless someone has pulled a fast one when selling the car

312mm brake kit goes for about £150-£200 2nd hand.

Brembo kit £600?

Muhahah, if I had an LCR, I'd rape it for £500 profit. Splash some red paint on the little brakes & run.

That or it's an EU import & someone bought 18's for it once it was over here.

or its an import with the wrong identity lol.

either way you need to check it out mate, i cant imagine why anyone would remove the brembos for any reason other than to make money out of an unsuspecting buyer

Here in Sweden Mk1 LCR had 18", Brembos and Recaros optional. 18" and Brembos where an upgrade package together so if you dont have Brembos your car didnt have 18" when it came out of the box.

Just FYI, if it was a parallel import, the DVLA won't be able to tell you one way or another...

But it's likely the car has been raped.

Take it back to SEAT (if you bought it from them) and ask them to revert the car to standard
