FK 15mm Spacers

I appear to be getting it all wrong recently.
I ordered FK Spacers direct from FK in germany and they've arrived.
I was super excited and I picked them up from my parents last night, Drove home and was worried somewhat about the bolts!

Upon getting into work today and prior to setting out to getting these buggers fitted I decided to trial fit them.

Standing the wheel bolts side by side it appears the ones they've provided to bolt into the hub are around 3mm shorter and appear to be 22mm in length (is this safe!?)
My car wheel bolts however have a thread length of 24-25mm.

Another problem resides in the fact that my standard wheel bolts are now about 2-3mm TOO long and when you bolt the wheel to the spacer it pokes out the back of the spacer about 2-3mm and doesnt sit flush.

I was thinking of buying a second set of front VW wheel bolts with locking nuts and my friend said to just chop them down... but again I'm concerned about the safety.
Can anyone shed some light on this about what I should and shouldn't do?

Bearing in mind I drive this car over brecon and various other places with some haste!
Heres a link to the spacers and wheel bolts...and a ruler.

Dont fit them until you know you have the correct bolts, are they the ones that use longer wheel bolts? As mine bolt onto the hub, and the wheel onto the spacer. If you dont want the hassle of getting stuff sent from germany im sure someone like DPM performance could sort you out some bolts?

Don't worry I'm not going to fit them until I have the correct bolts.
These bolt into the hub using the smaller bolt you see in the pictures and then my standard wheel bolts bolt into the spacer itself.

Their Hubscentric B+ with the steel threads for extra safety and durability.
The problem is MY original wheel bolts are a little too long and the ones they provided are 2-3mm too short, I'm told its safe to use the shorter wheel bolts but I CANT use the longer ones as the spacers wouldnt sit flush with the hub and I'm wondering if I "Can" use shorter bolts or if that'd be too dangerous.

If I can I don't know where to get them from.

Try the forum sponsor Rare Rims, I think they sell wheel bolts.

Why did you go for 15mm and not the usual 20mm? Maybe with 20mm spacers you wouldn't have this problem.

Thanks Altech.
I was a bit worried about the extra width on the front axle, plus the extra weight.
I opted for 15mm as it game me about 3-4mm + of Calliper clearance but the spacers weighed little to nothing.

The 20mm whilst great weight a little more and its 5mm extra each side.
In retrospect however I wish I'd ordered 20mm!

I have 20mm Ebay Spacers bolt on then bolt the wheel on, I think their H&R but they weigh SO MUCH I dont really want to put the fronts under that much stress

Oh I didn't realise you were fitting the spacers to the front. Is that so you can fit the Avus alloys?

It is yes, But to be honest with this latest setback I'm starting to give up hope!
Think I'm going to contact the Ebayer, send the items back and send the spacers back to germany for a refund.

I give up!

Refund requested to Ebay Seller am contacting FK now to have a refund on the spacers!

Sounds like a right ball ache!

Seat Sport callipers cause so many problems for people. Two members recently bought some and had to sell them on after realising that there wheels wouldn't fit over them
