Oh yes, that is what I am busy waiting for. Mine failed QC at the factory and is now being re-built, week 11. So i should have her mid April if all goes well. I can't wait for my boc, just looks so damn good and the sound is awesome too.

They do sound fantastic, and once you get used to the DSG (being used to stirring cogs), they are a lot of fun.
That's going to be a painful wait for you, it would be doing my head in. I ordered our S3 back in October 2006, and took delivery in March 2007. It sent me crazy waiting that long for a car as I'd never waited more than 5 weeks before.
I agree, if the car gets here in April like it should, it would have been 7 months. That is a very long wait by any persons standards. I am sure the reward will be worth the wait.
It will, they drive really well and they feel properly quick, especially when I think back to the 1.4's of old.
revo should also have their map out by then. I am just concerned what the dealer will charge for that.
I'd imagine in the ballpark of £500. Hard to say.
Heard mixed reports of DSG issues with torque limits, but don't know if these have been 'worked around' - you have to hope so. Will be ballistic with the map, but you will probably want the racing brakes.
Are you doing the LED DRL's some on here have done?
I have ordered the racing brakes on mine and am seriously looking at the LED DRL's. Will be getting the wheels powder coated in gloss black too with the roof done in gloss black vynil too.
