bouncing idle

hi im wonderng if anyone can help me out

when i start the car it has a nice steady idle, but after ive reved the engine, the idle bounces from 600 rpm up to 1300

ive changed the maf a week or so ago, as it needed doing anyway, and cleaned the throttle body, and neither have made a difference

cant see any leaks but can hear a slight hissing noise around the throttle body, but everything looks tight

the car drives spot on, no flat spots and pulls really well

any ideas would be a great help thanks

Check the ISV. I had the same problem after f...g up the install of an induction kit on one of my previous cars.

cheers i'll look into it, is it something that will show up on vagcom?
