How much do you have to spend on IBIZA annualy?

Well. Ive got an Ibiza for about a month now. So far im VERY happy with the engine, but the rest is.....
So many things to improve and so much money to spend.
How much is cost on avarage to run ibiza within a year.
I mean all the services and replacements.
:)

service - £210
front tyres- £150
rear pads - £70
Issue with brakes - £240
another interim service - £70
Gearbox rebuild - £600
Clutch and Flywheel - £800+

Mods:
Hid's - £100
Cage - £500
Stereo - £900ish inc deadening
Box, fly and clutch - mentioned above
Was looking at WMI or Propane - £600

Ins - £1400
tax - £125?

All in all mines cost quite a bit over the last 12months lol

But i love it to bits and if its ever needed anything its always been replaced with the best parts available

I think that, like any second hand car, your annual spend will go in fits and starts - some years will be free years so you can spend on mods - others will be boringly expensive just to stand still.

Basically £6000 of my £16000 goes on my car.
My £16000 annual wage doesnt include tax mans cut however!

My 1st 12 months of ownership (PD130):

Fuel £1200 (12k miles)
Insurance £400
Tax £120
2x services and 1 MOT £350
PAS steering angle sensor £140
4 tyres £250
New ARB, CV boots and Cupra bushes £300
Rear susp spring £30
Rear disks and pads £180
Window regulator £100
Wing mirror £40

So all in, it's cost £3100 which isn't too bad with the amount of stuff that's needed replacing! Fingers crossed for a more trouble-free 2nd year

Just thinking about this has made me laugh. Heres my 2009.

Fuel - £1764.80 doing 19960 miles.
Insurance - £215
Tax - £120
Services - £150 (40k and 50k done by myself)
4 new tyres - £200
Wheels Powdercoated - £160

Thats is really. £2609.80.

2010 will be more. :D
