Understanding tracking print out

I have my rear console bushes replaced on the weekend so thought it prudent to get the tracking checked.

Looking at the INTIAL you can see that it is out on both sides (ignore the rear as they arent adjustable) but on the FINAL the drivers side camber is still out of tolerance? but the overal is now 0.02???

Can anyone shed some light on this for me please

I read this as the front wheels have been adjusted so that they both point forwards in line with one another. (alignment)

The overall figure is only relating to alignment, not camber as if youlook at the symbol in the overall figure it indicates this relates to alignment. (0.00 and 0.02 added up is 0.02)

Camber etc has not been adjusted and i strongly doubt it can be adjusted on your car.

Don't forget the measurements they're using are degress and minutes, I believe minutes are 60th of a degree? That's very small. The tiny diagrams below each measurement suggest they are looking for a 0.05 measurement tolerance.

What I reckon they've done is put the front left straight, and left all the others alone. The differences of a few minutes are just down to the equipments inability to get any more accurate. See the right rear, that can't be adjusted yet it's moved one minute.

I'm guessing the overall measurement is just one added or subtracted to the other, to get the overall tracking?

Camber can usually be adjusted, but it's not as simple as adjusting a tie rod end. It's usually some form of adjustment built into the steering geometry and how it bolts together (elongated bolt holes on the strut fixing are a common option), but it's beyond a tyre basher to do that sort of work.

But yes, I agree this is only an alignment fix, not camber or caster.

looks like they have adjusted the toe and thats it. the camber is adjustible a small amount by moving the top mount on the bolt (if the makes sence). the rears have no adjustment what so ever.

Assuming yours is an FR - The book says :

Toe in = 0º 10' +/- 10' yours is 0º 02' toe in ( within range )
Camber = -0º 39' +/- 30' yours are -0º 38' and -1º 03' ( passenger side spot on - drivers side heading for upper limit )
Drift angle - yours is 0º 01' so the rear wheels will follow the front - IE the steering wheel should be straight on a straight road
