I was thinking of getting a small compressor but now I think I'll just get a electric impact wrench like yours. What is yours rated to?

Well I wasted a day today. :(

Set off first thing to drive 9 miles to get alignment done, but after a few hundred yards it was apparent the handling was simply appalling. Panic sort of set in, I was wondering if the tighten-loosen-tighten procedure on the hub nuts had gone wrong and I was perhaps wrecking my wheel bearings. Turned round, jack out, checked there was no play in the front wheels. None. Another short drive and I still wasn't happy so I postponed the alignment.

I decided I'd set tracking up a bit better, but this ended with a 60 mile round trip to acquire an M14 x 1.5 flat nut to use as a locknut on one trackrod.

After this, handling feels perfect, generally nice and solid. :cartman: (The moral of the tale.... Too much toe-in = scary handling).

Also my wishbones are now a lot nearer horizontal than they were before I changed it all.

Alignment tomorrow.

Wat ride height are you planning on running at now Dave?

Mine is 25mm drop from OEM LCR ride height withh a slight angle on the wish bones, during the winter I'll reset this to 20mm to sort out the angle.
So measurement from hub nut centre to inner wheel arch is 13 3/8"

I think mine is sitting at 13.3" at the moment. I wasn't going to fiddle with the ride height at the moment, I was going to get that sorted when I get round to having it corner-weighted.

Good to hear your still thinking about getting the corner weighting done

The arb is on already its the 23mm R32 one i have the 25mm neuspeed on the back, but the wishbone angles are not good so i have got LCR wishbones and hubs and new ball joints, i fitted the hubs with new wheel bearings. Ronin225 is putting new bush's into the wishbones as we speak, i thought the hubs where the same but thought i would check in case i missed something.
So as soon as i get hte wishbones back i will be fitting it all along with the pipers turbo back system and INA hi flow mani.

Following a thorough recheck of my wiring, I got the water methanol system running properly. Car feels and sounds fantastic.

Running the 225 cc nozzle, 50/50 water Methanol and 8.25 degrees of timing advance - at a Motorscope Rolling Road day -

387.7 bhp @6225 rpm with 328.9 ft/lbs torque @6141 rpm

Wow, that's awesome! You really need rods mate! Where do you have your nozzle mounted in relation to the throttle body? How much boost you running?

Cheers Rob, 1.5 bar of boost across the board. My nozzle is about 125 mm from my throttle body. Yes, I need to do my rods now.

Whatever the 'headline' bhp really is ( ) we're looking at 320 bhp at the wheels. :)
