How do you manage to advance the timing so much? I can't go beyond 5.25 degrees without getting CF's, at 6 degrees of advanced timing I get lots of 3's in the CF's? I'm guessing my map already has some advanced timing in it.

Always a possibility, Rob. Have you got a log of 003 - it shows your ign angle.

Cheers Phil. I have to say it again, the engine sounds awesome on song with the timing that far advanced. I'll try do a recording sometime.

I see the odd 3, but mainly 0's Phil. It's been ingrained on me that CFs can be higher in 6th than in 4th, so I haven't pushed it. I think there's more to be had, but I don't want to go there without sorting my rods.

Rods first, then a custom remap based around the wmi.

I tried 6.725 advance today and saw a load of 6's and 9's in the CF's, but the car felt awesome, pulled hard as hell?

Toyo R1Rs fitted this morning with alignment done. Put 1.5 degrees negative camber on the front. Too early to tell on the tyres, but all feels good.

Not Garth Brooks, the version on my MP£ player is Janis Joplin.
