took my car out 2day, it was in the garage having some work last week. the problems i had were, 17535 running too rich, 17705 pressure loss, 17704 engine temp sensor.
any way the guy at the garage said its my actuator thats playing up. so i got them to fit a new 1, he checked for boost leaks and didnt find anything. also i had the tracking done.
after taking it for a spin today i had a fault come up 17535 running too rich [:@]
so now im super pissed off, and to matters worst my steering is completely shot.
any way i have just been looking at all pipes for a leak and i cant find anything, also the pipes are all new red samco ones so they should be good.
to be honest i wanna fix my car with a hammer to make me feel less stressed.
so if any of you can tell me what to look at or try in order to fix the car that would be great. or other wise the hammer is looking good :(

i would take it back, but its one of those silly things really as the guy who has the garage is a friend of the family and he only charged me for the actuator. so i wasnt charged for the so called tracking, so now im a little stuck. wayne i have just cleared the fault and im going to run the car without the maf pluged in, what should i gain or find out from this?

just got back in after a long run. the car ran very lumpy at first but soon sorted its self. the car ran a lot better, boost seemed a little higher but the pull from it was amazing. i did get a fault code. 16486 maf low input. but that was expected. also the traction control came on, so from this info do you think its the maf causing the problems even tho i put a new 1 in not so long ago?

Did fault 17704 go away? I had this and it was temp. sensor fault

17535 - Bl00dy code I had it up for ages, couldn't get rid of it. Tried new n75 valve, checked for boost leak's etc. Gave in to it in the end and gave the car to AmD. Ended up being the MAF playing about causing the car to run cr@p, also my N249 by pass was making the issue worse. - They replaced maf and restored normal N249 pipework and all was good.

Cheers

electrical items do tend to play up very soon or last well.
being new isnt always going to mean it cant be faulty..
Temp sensor replacement would be recommended. These (like the maf) can read incorrectly but not throw a fault code..
