have you still got your standard bumpers etc or sell it like it is if you are to sell it obviously....

av got standard bumpers up the lot so will sell it back to standard, dont think i would get much more, private sale looking like a cupra. what u think?

i reckon i could only get like £2200 to £2500 private and maybe £2000 trade

well defo turn it back to standard if yr going to get another beeza then u can still have your bumpers .If not you'd more then likely make more money by selling those bumpers alone.
However as your car looks nice and sport some eager 18 yr old might pay over the ods for a 1.2 that looks the way yours does.

so overall if your getting another beeza then put it to standard then sell it should see £2k as my m8 sold his y reg focus last year for 2.5k and that hd well over 120k on the clock.

If you keep the bumpers on then maybe £3k as every young person wants a hot hatch for there first car so start high as they will always try and knock the price down... but thats just my 2p everyone else will have a diffrent opinion.

and as for dealer they offerd me£500 for my x mk3 and when i was trying to part ex my fr for the cupra they said £4k just a month after i payed around 8k for it :ban: so i can see them offering about 1k for yours but you can always ask and see what the real going rate is

got them from the dealers mate discounted, and they cost alot more than that, best keep trying ebay, unless ur willing to fork out about £400 for unpainted bumpers

would you think that this would fit? then buy the plastic bits from seat like the fog surrounds etc?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Front-Bumper-...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item19b962c627

That'll fit... remember to save up to £200 to get it painted, and get the fog lights/fog lights surrounds, and lower grils. I'm pretty sure the upper grills are the same and fit straight in.
The only reason I haven't bothered changin the bumper is I can't justify the £300-ish to do it, all parts included.

no on ebay not on here, alot of us bought from them on here though, at the time only facelift bumpers not cupra bumpers but they are alot nicer anyway! Having a diesel it was the only option as the side mounted intercooler on the diesel doesn't get any air on the cupra bumper anyway.
