Pcd

^^ Well it depends, because some people thing the ET37 wheels sit too far in the arches as it is? so 15 mm hub adapters will make ET45 wheels sit 7mm closer to the arch.

I don't know whether you only tend to get 20mm PCD adapters because generally the adapter bolts onto the hub (that's fine!) but then the wheel bolts into the adapter, so really the more depth you have to bolt into the safer.

With a 7.5 x 18 you'd want an offset of between 25-35mm depending on how far out you want them to sit.

Mine are ET30 8x18 and theres still room to bring them out so I could run ET25 quite easily.

My old wheels were 8.5x18 ET33 and there was still room to move them out.

I think the thinnest PCD adaptors you can get are 20mm to allow for the 5x100 bolts to be housed.

So add 20mm on to 25-35 you'd ideally be looking at new wheels being ET45-55 :)

I run et23 on 7.5j alloys :)

20mm spacers would give ET31 that would not cause any problems at all [I'm running ET30]

25mm spacers obviously give ET26 but I would not like to say if they would be to close to the arch.

They would be close to the arch.. have a look at my rear arch liners..or lack of them next meet ;) Personally I would go for 20mm adaptors over 15mm.. more metal to bolt into, better stance :)
