Well hello all Seat guy's;
First of all. Very much thanks for all the reply's. As far as the surge is concerned, here is a very good example of what surge is .......... Look at the film completly. When the car is driving, you can exactly hear and discover what my car does. This is NOT a normal reaction. This is SURGE. It is caused by a physic problem in the diverter-valve system. Could be the capacity of the diverter, to weak spiral or whatever. If you hear this sound on your car, your turbo can NOT get rid of the overpressure.
This form of surge is less harmfull to you motor. If you hear this sound when stepping on the gas, it is really killing for the turbo. Then overpressure hits the compressor wheel. NOT GOOD.
I have the most problems when coming off the gas. But sometimes with full load, I hear surge to.
This problem will be solved by the tuner in short time. I am really sure that there is more pressure and faster spool. The surge gives the answer to that. Much more pressure, but cannot get rid of it.
Look at this and turn on the speakers ............ SURGE
