if its already in limp mode, its a dealer visit as they are the only ones who can force the regen process i believe - its not available in vag-com.

I have performed the force generation with the vcds software but i'm still getting the G450 sensor error, implausible signal. is this a simple fix or a ecu software update, i can supply the print out if required.

not too sure as havent changed one myself. believe it is a case of unscrewing it out of the dpf and screwing a new one in, think there about £40 each

performed another regen this morning and noticed the sensor reading counting down in 075-3 then all the lights went off and limp mode disabled. now the sensor has stopped reading again, so you guys where right. ordered a new sensor, who needs deallers eating all you hard earned cash.
