Will i need anything else to fit double-din stereo

Looking to upgrade the standard stereo in the ibiza as not totally in love with it....lol

So seen this really nice pioner double din DVD etc headunit which comes with full ipod control. However need to know if there is anything else i would need to fit it, i assume the cage that will come with the pioneer will let me just slot it straight in.

I dont have that exact one (f900bt) but it is a similar Pioneer double-din unit. Everything comes in the box or at least did for mine. You may need an adapter for the wires. someone else might know for sure? If so they wont cost anymore than £30. The cage will come with it

Yeah they go in, but you will have fun fitting in all those wires!!!!

I found a lot of space behind my headunit to the left and jammed (theres a lot out the back!!) most of them in there.
If it also has a USB cable/optical out the back then it may be worth routing them towards the glove box and using them to restrain all wires from behind the unit..stops them getting sliced when trying to put the pioneer in

well i ordered it today, should be here tomorrow, found it even cheaper at 290 including the Ipod contolling wire as it has full on screen ipod control. Fitting it at the weekend and will get the pics up.

just means my exhaust and wheel mods will have to wait till another month, but in a diesel the sounds take precedence as i have'nt got the fun of a lou exhust note to please me anymore....lol

theres loads of room 4 wires at the top back left corner just keep on pushin. wouldnt mind seein pics when u fit it. ive got the beat 600 dvd player in atm looks mint

I will get pics up tomorrow as not had a chance to take any this weekend, but the headunit is amazing. For the money and features its breathtaking. Funny thing is two of my mates looked at it over the weekend and both text me today to say they had bought one.
