ha ha hid ;)

How come you took out the Full beam set mate ?

ahh them 100w bulbs are the ones i have just put up ?

How do you mean extra wiring loom ??

Because the slow turn on time got fustrating tbh. It is all luck of the draw though; some HID kits turn on quicker and sharper than others.

Extra wiring loom; basically the oem main beam wiring now goes to a relay that opens a circuit directly from the battery to the main beam bulbs. Does that make sense? It did in my mind but not so sure now I read it!

lol your funny mate

And not really can i just ask Why ???? :S

Because the OEM wires could potentially melt due to the increased ampage flowing through them with 100watt bulbs. The extra loom I have put in used much thicker cables.

lol you have no side lights WHY ???

Do you reckon the lights i posted up would be ok ??

Cos I haven't got round to replacing them yet!! Try them at your own risk, but in theory, the fuse should blow before the wires melt :)

It's hard to get the dipped light on film, mine were bright enough to use down lanes, but when you went to high beam it was like you were in a night time rally lol

I have both main and dipped on hids and as said before main beam is slightly slow to reach full brightness and they are alot better than the normal bulbs in colour and brightness, and tbh i dont get to use them that often, but when i do its only really the first time you switch them on that they are slow, if i have to switch them of due to another car coming they go straight back to full brightness when switched back on.
I also hid :)lol:) the ballasts in the wings not really a problem tbh.

what strength hids have you got i have 6k and absolutly no need to see further?

surely it all depends how quickly you want to drive down said lanes at night? I live 15miles from my nearest town; the journey there is all backlanes some of which you can get 2 cars down, others are single track; it'd be outright dangerous to go down these at any pace without being able to see a good 100m at least in front of you
