Sorry mate i don't like that one bit, just doesn;t 'look' special at all, maybe would of looked better at getting the rear spoiler painted black

know what you mean, it sorta like hides the center exhaust. I have some stuff planned, so bare with me on this one lol. More pics to come tomorrow.

Very nice Poverty ;)

Tempted to get the ITG Filter for my K1 after hearing the noise it makes on your vid...

Not sure about the black diffuser, some better pics from different angles might change me mind.

I think I like the black diffuser. I need to see it in real life first though... I'll be out again once I get the car back ;)

Car has now been dropped off ahead of schedule to AMD.

The GF prefers the diffuser gloss black and its growing on me slowly now too. It looks better in different light.

Been a while since ive last seen you dan. I think you should come down to santa pod on the 28th of feb!

Looking good, im borderline of geting a k1, swaying more towards the astra vxr though as i see more potential. Test drive both soon so will soon find out.

The only thing an Astra VXR has the potential to do over a Leon is look dated, be common and perform slow.

Heres the adress for the guys, a bit out of your way but they do all of my gf's familys work and my work and they have never got anything wrong so far. I have also had some bad experiences with bodyshops so I only trust them with my car now. Their work is really top notch, and they spray kit cars etc aswell. Turn around from them is super quick also compared to every other bodyshop ive dealt with.

Cheers for the info mate. I'll pass it onto my bro :)

I test drove a stage 3 vxr and it was awesome much better drive than old and new leon, i recon a rear arb on the vxr and its equally as good handeling as good as the k1 but its everyones opinion :)

haha well tbh the cupra std is **** compared to a stage 1 cupra running 300hp, never mind 360hp. I could never go back to driving a std cupra, I would sell it straight away if I had to.

Exactly - you need to modify a VXR to match a standard Cupra ;)

As for Stage 3 Astra VXR's, when you conisder you need intercoolers, exhausts, intakes, remaps etc to get to the 290bhp they make, the fact that a simple remap gets better figures and better graphs on a Cupra, you realise the difference between the two cars. Add the same hardware upgrades that makes the Astra Stage 3 on to the Cupra, and you have 70bhp more in the Cupra.

I dont even really bother with Astra VXR's when they try it on any more as there is really no point, but when I do, I love seeing the look on their faces when they start to fall back because so many of their drivers truly do believe they are driving the fastest hot hatch on the road

I on the other hand am under no illusion that at some point soon, a new Focus RS will probably romp past me on the road/track somewhere.
