Just wondering if anyone has had a remap by this company. they have a few branches in the uk and they came to me via a friend suggestion on face book as they are opening a new shop near me in Northampton.

Anyway, they quoted £225 & vat to remap my standard cupra with a 42bhp & 60nm gain. seems very good to me:)

sorry if this has been covered or in the wrong section but nothing came up in a quick search!

Cant say i have ever heard of them so cant comment on their quality of work. If it were my car id stick to the big boys, Revo, P-Torque, Custom Code etc

hi mate soz for late reply . its been bugging me as i havnt had access to forum . i had stage 1 map with these mate i paid 200 last year in onvy cupra . good people to work with but when i went on dyno i had a major fuelling problem down to map. got graphs to prove. i had stage 2 with badger5 then fuelling sorted mate. the thing is with these people who do it for cheap they copy and paste maps ect then store onto ecu. dont get me wrong was still fast i pulled 222.2 bhp with this.go with someone who does this for living . badger5 / revo /jabba / ect

my old leon was mapped by them and it was brilliant, i now have a skoda 1.8t which is 215 bhp and it shifts, never any problems.

i think you are wrong about the maps as i was talking with the tuner whilst waiting for software and they buy them in, cant remember the company name he said tho

well im just saying my experience. 60000 miles in my leon no issues, skoda 30000 miles no issues. ive sent mates to them no problems

before both of these cars i had an ibiza with revo on it and it caused no end of problems. it was a nightmare so i guess revo are poor?

after ringing round looking for my remap i found all tuning companies slag each other off! they are sales men at the end of the day looking to sell you a map.

i think revo would be alot better than ecu evolution mate. been around alot longer than ecu evolution and have proved its point. aint the guy who does it your dad? so you would stick up for the company.

keep to people who no's best;)

I know this is an old thread, but I've got my Mk2 Toledo Tdi 110 booked in for a remap on Saturday morning.

I'm a bit worried now that I'm doing the right thing, it's £150 inc vat which seems reasonable. They also have 100% feedback on ebay.

Advice please?

i've had two revo'd cars, 1st pd140 leon and currnetly got a 20vt cupra ibiza stage 2 which is great too although needing a fmic soon, also june this year i got my octy vrs done by rtech in hinckley they also are mobile too. i've been very pleased with that. lots of ppl on the golf gti forum use them too and i would definately use them again.

Thanks for the mixed feedback.

I don't really want to pay someone £250-£300 for 30 minutes work, when ECU Evolution will do the exact same thing for £150.

Or am I missing something?
