Wanted to get some gauges in the car for aaaages now but was never sure what type of pod holder to go for. Nomad double is a nice option but abit expensive at £72 for abit of plastic. Also wanted to keep the car looking fairly standard so gauges on show didt apeal to me all that much. So went to my local stealers in Wimbledon and picked up a cupra r gauge holder for the brilliant price of £8!!

Got some Autogauge boost and oil temperature gauges ready to fit in the near future, can wait.

Yeh your one of the lucky few 75 people that got an R ! As far as plugs go, i think i may stick with the NGK BKR7E's unless my fitter of Bill tells me i need to change them.

No idea to be honest mate, think someone asked that in my thread a while back, think, and i could be wrong, but could be to get to the internals to rip them put and replace them with ko4 goodies, just a guess though

Here you go ;)

Because CR use a hybrid K03/K04 compressor housing - i.e. the housing of a K04 with a K03 elbow welded on to maintain OE fitment

From an old thread:

"I would plan to use the shaft, CHRA, and comp wheel from the Audi RS6 turbo, this gives us the largest combination of wheels in the K04 range, we then machine out your Turbine housing to make the shaft fit, we take the comp cover from a larger turbo eg Audi TT then weld the elbow from yours on to it so the actuator fits and to keep the turbo pipework fitting as original"

]Yup no need to buy the guage holder and expensive brakes all there already with H&R cup suspension, what ever else is different. Well i shall kep a keen eye on the thread to see if you change your plugs then.

Good progress to be making.
