Up to you, I wouldnt let any of the above issues sway your decision. how long would you keep the car for if you kept it?

Maybe another 18 months I guess, certainly not over 60k.

If I keep it, I will need a full system exhaust in a year or so (£1k), then WMI (£750), then just the usuals other than servicing. Wouldn't go beyond Stg 2+ as the internals aren't up to it in OEM format.

Might as well keep it, if you want to...

Why would you need water meth?

I am concerned that the valves may have got coked as I'm noting a bit of power drop off and I hoped that as I'm running stage 2+ the WMI may act as an insurance policy to clean the valves, keep the inlet temps down (ignition timing was adjusting quite a bit before the cold weather came in so I dialed the boost back to 6).

When you think about it although its not evasive mods, a car that was supposed to run 261PS is now close to running 360 which is nearly 40% hike. That's gotta hurt it at times.

Well you have to drill a hole in the pipe leading to the throttle body!

So basically, you could not remove it with no trace of it being there then? Just thinking about how one might explain this to a potential buyer come resale time.

you could always buy yourself a second IC/TB pipe, i doubt they will be that expensive TBH, maybe you could even get a secon hand one.

then flog the second pipe once you come to selling the car.
not sure about that because the pmup is only firing when your on a decent boost level anyway. Depends how much you put your foot down really.
Saying that the boost comes on in the k03 substantially sooner than what your turbo will do, so ill prob be driving on boost much more often than you will be, and benefit from a bit better economy.

From the reading ive done, it seems like the MAF is the better method of controlling the spray. is yours boost or MAF activated.

Sounds about right that a BT car will benefit more, Yours is still not fully utilising the meth injection, as its not been mapped for it yet, so id be keen to see what the differences will be once it is tweaked for the meth.

although i still think that good gains will be possible on the k03, as due to the higher compressio ratio your limited on how far you can advance the timing, the water meth would solve that.

The second IC/TB pipe mentioned above. Do you have access to the P/N to see if it would be cheap enough to buy. I wonder how big a job it would be to remove/replace it.
