hi all, i'm completely new to the forum and to driving... legally lol.
Ive just got myself a white 2001 ibiza chill 5dr. Its got a decent exhaust and fairly clean for age.
Got a slight issue though. Just filled up and took it for a run round the city and about halfway round my lil lap the engine light came on and stayed on.
I thought i'll take it easy and head back home. About 2 roads away from my house i stalled it...( How embarrasing, please dnt laugh too hard)
Started fine, got home, went in had some dinner. 30 mins later went to car to start it and it started no problem, however. the EPC light is now on aswell as the engine light. I searched the problem and now i am completely confused.
Would someone be able to list the possible causes and how i should go about attempting to sort the issue?
Also i need to make a 60 mile journey and should i be concerned with a breakdown or is it just a problem that is not urgent and can be put on my "to do" list.
Any help is greatly appreciated
