interior light fault and alarm

hey guys,

2 days ago i got into my car and went to drive off but the interior light stayed on, it then proceeded to dim down and go out to then come straight back on again, i thought it may have been due to the fact it was minus 10 and the time but its still doing it, i have taken the light out completely and everything looks ok and working, when i open and close the passenger door the light goes out find but not the drivers, it also doesnt randomly come back on when stationary?

any ideas?

and my car seems to take a few attempts to lock, unlock works fine, and the light on the key comes on when i press lock, its just takes several goes occasionsaly

For the door/interior light problem... it's most likely a faulty door sensor.

For the locking could be the key battery - have you tried changing this?
