all a matter of opionion i think.. there will only ever be 2-3 bhp in it i guess. 3" blueflame downpipe with either de-cat or race cat (depends on how flush you are and whether your willing to swap it over every MOT time (turbo studs snap -- re-studded mine 3 times now) then the cat back is all a matter of taste as to asthetics and sound (all the bhp is mostly gained at the front end really)

a good quiet one is the super sprint system (from experience) big mufflers drown out the noise so if your running a cat you wont notice much difference but a de-cat you will on boost.

i cant speak for any others (see you tube for examples) but i had a powerflow turbo back system fitted removing all but a small rear box... pops, bangs and growles like a mother

All depends on what you want really!

if you have plenty of money get a piper turbo back...if not, pipewerx or blueflame will be fine....

with the induction, an open cone (green) is best, but alot of people do for a dynatwist....

i have a BMC induction kit which will be changed cos it is restrictive but gives a nice whooosh sound

Agree for induction... although i has a local company bend me up some alloy tube costing me £45 in all and bolted an ITG filter to the end behind the bumper... vroom tishhhhh

Are you sure about this Chris.

All the milltek LCR ones I've seen are not really to my taste.
Ovalish with a dodgy looking flat bottom.

when i was looking for a exhaust i thought this about them but now its fitted i think it looks good.

im just uploading some pics now

I have a miltek on mine, and to be honest when i bought the car i thought it was the standard one until i compared to it the standard one, still not 100 times different though!!

Jetex do a decent cone! although they are out of stock atm!

yeah i have to say i was really unimpressed not just to see spec of rust but quite a bit and i had also heard it was sorted but it is hard to take the car off the road now to get it sorted as i have no spare. might cut my losses by a blue flame send it back then put it on ebay just so i save myself some hassel of no car

Just a thought but how about cutting the OEM tailpipe from the old system if you still have it and get someone to weld it on? Would that work? I don't know, sounds good in my head though.
