I'm guessing it's my tyres, everyone else on the road seems to grip so much better than me who seems to struggle to find any grip in this snow.

Im the same mate,on my ibiza cupra. Running gsd3's awesome in dry and the wet. The snow is not liking them tho + don't help being lowered.

im on the same tyres aswell bud and ur right there mince in the snow. ma mums yaris is better than mine lol

GSD3 and snow = huge accident
as said above awesome in wet and dry but snow, mite aswell be driving around on the rims

Eagles assy's in the snow and ice are poop that's why I took my alloys off and put steelies on with sum mud and snow tyres on plus doesn't matter if the steels catch a kerb aswell
I have the goodyears on my tolly 20vt and they dont grip at all. Excellent in dry and wet as everyone says.

another thing is the width of the tyres... I couldn't get up my road the other day with 225 width tyres yet my neighbour could easily with 175's!!!
Yeah we need skinny tyres. Snow will be gone soon
exactly I try to put up with it for the tiny time we have snow and use the car as little as poss....it's fine the other 360 days a year on decent tyres!
Mine is the same with Dunlop SP 9000's. It must just be the extreme power of a SEAT that causes the problems!

Had some lack of grip with my Eagle F1 asym. with 3" of slush. Had to get pushed up the hill on our street, thanks to 3 neighbours, cheers guys. 2mm of tread didn't help. Getting new F1's tomorrow, they were ok last time i got them, april 09. Even when on the snow/slush when going boardin at nevis range, crossing rannoch moor etc.
